STRENGTH

TRX

Used by Olympic athletes and Hollywood stars alike, TRX Suspension Training is a bodyweight strength-training modality that utilizes the Suspension Trainer to create vector resistance. This allows the user to scale the intensity of the exercises either up or down depending upon foot position and angle. The instability that the Suspension Trainer creates causes the body to recruit the core-stabilizing muscles, thereby creating a training program that is literally “all core, all the time.” This program is ideal for everybody and anybody, and is a perfect compliment to any lifestyle or athletic-training goal.

suspension + yoga

Beyond just a strength training tool, the Suspension Trainer works well to generate greater mobility and stability while practicing classical yoga postures.  Students looking to work into more challenging poses, such as standing balances, will find the Suspension Trainer works well as a unique tool to increase balance. The Suspension Trainer also allows the user to activate the upper body to improve isometric strength in standing poses like Warrior I, which is something not found in traditional yoga. This new, one-hour flow is an excellent compliment to a strength-training program or regular yoga practice alike.
